Alice is the managing partner of Ignite Transformative Events. Alice is passionate about facilitating, public speaking, and mentoring and inspiring people to move through challenges to live their highest calling and the life of their dreams.

During the 1990’s and early 2000’s Alice studied workshop and event facilitation and spent 15 years creating and delivering annual retreats, seminars and workshops. From 2000 to the present Alice has been a project manager, and most recently with a not for profit charity in the Greater Victoria area. While coaching and mentoring individual privately through her own business, Oraya Communications, the major focus of her career has been managing multiple contracts for private businesses, not for profit agencies and public institutions. These contracts included managing several million dollars’ worth of government funding for the under-privileged citizens of British Columbia, Canada. These contracts provided services to clients in challenging and extreme circumstances to situations of success including employment, schooling, and financial improvement and achieving dream jobs and relationships. Alice attributes her success to the dedication and application to life-long learning as demonstrated through her education below.

~ Author ~ In 2010 Alice published and launched her first book, “From Pain to Passion, the Journey of Self-Healing” under her pen name Lauren Van Kas. This book was written with the intention of assisting the reader move through layers of accumulated life experiences to re-identify their true passion. “From Pain to Passion” is available on Amazon.
