Chapter Leader Role

·        The Chapter Leader is the face and leader of their own community. Their role is to grow their community by inviting new members, fostering relationships, encouraging growth, and facilitating a safe, inclusive environment.

·        Branding elements are available to create posts and invitations that the leader will share on social media to encourage new attendees. With the list of past attendees and portal registrations, the chapter leader will stay in touch and ensure the community stays up to date and aware of upcoming events.

·        There is a requirement that the Chapter Leader has purchased one of the four memberships of the networking group.

·        A  stipend of $5 is paid for every attendee besides the chapter leader or founder at each meeting.

·        The Chapter Leader will hold meetings to the standard of the BCWBN Vision and Mission Statement, as well as:

o   Keeping meetings small (max 20)

o   Women-only

o   Business exclusive

o   No negativity (women or business bashing)

o   Each woman has 3 minutes to share

·        Chapter Leaders have the freedom to change the order of their agenda, include speakers, spotlight businesses, and make changes that work best for their own community. It will be expected that those changes will be conveyed to the founder.

·        Chapter Leaders will find the appropriate venue, day, and time for their meetings and ensure that everything is scheduled appropriately, taking care to ensure that we don’t have meetings that are close in proximity to each other on the same night, unless unavoidable.

·        Our Chapter Leaders are highly valued, and there will be open communication with the founder to ensure that everything is smooth and supportive for our Leaders.
