The Business Growth Award exists to honour women building successful businesses while maintaining integrity, sustainability, strong leadership, and meaningful client impact. Celebrating Strategic and Sustainable Business Growth

The Business Growth Award recognizes a woman-owned business that has demonstrated significant, measurable, and strategic growth while maintaining strong leadership, client experience, and sustainability.

This award honours women entrepreneurs who are building successful businesses through intentional growth strategies, smart decision-making, innovation, and strong operational foundations.

The Business Growth Award celebrates growth that is sustainable, values-driven, and built for long-term success — not growth achieved through burnout or unsustainable pressure.

Award Purpose

The purpose of this award is to recognize and celebrate women-owned businesses that have achieved impressive growth through strategic planning, strong leadership, and sustainable business practices.

This award highlights women who are scaling with intention while maintaining professionalism, client satisfaction, business integrity, and healthy operational systems.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, nominees must:

Be a woman-owned business operating for a minimum of 2 years
Demonstrate measurable business growth
Show evidence of strategic planning and intentional scaling
Maintain strong client satisfaction and professionalism
Demonstrate sustainable growth practices and healthy business operations
Have attended a BCWBN meeting from July 1, 2025, to July 1, 2026

What This Award Recognizes

This award may recognize businesses that have demonstrated growth through:

Revenue growth
Team expansion
Increased visibility or market reach
Product or service expansion
Community or industry growth
Improved systems and operational efficiency
Strategic partnerships or collaborations
Increased client retention or customer satisfaction
Sustainable scaling and long-term planning

This award values sustainable, strategic, and values-aligned growth over rapid expansion without structure or balance.

Who Can Nominate?

Nominations are open to clients, colleagues, business peers, community members, and BCWBN members.

Individuals may nominate:

A woman-owned business
A woman entrepreneur or business leader
A BCWBN member
Or themselves

Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged.

Selection Process

The Business Growth Award is peer-reviewed.

Nominations are reviewed by a selected panel using the award criteria, application responses, and supporting business growth information.

The review process focuses on:

Demonstrated measurable growth
Strategic leadership and planning
Sustainability and operational strength
Client satisfaction and professionalism
Innovation and scalability
Alignment with healthy and values-driven business growth

This is not a public voting or popularity-based award.

The intention is to recognize women who are building strong, sustainable businesses through strategic and intentional growth.
