NICHING DOWN DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!

Oh contraire! Have you ever been in a crowded room or restaurant and there are a whole bunch of conversations going on around you and you really can't hear anything except noise? But then all of a sudden somebody says a word that resonates with you and you hone in on that conversation.

Okay, well maybe I can't help it because when I hear something that feels like it is something I would be interested in, or something that I need, then I naturally turn my attention there.

Social media is terribly noisy, and in order to get someone's attention you have to be specific. So do a test...scroll and see what catches your eye. Is it something specific or is it just generic information?

I scroll through and all of a sudden the words "Vagina Coach" grab my attention. "Hey! I have one of those!" (Attention grabbed), "She talks about strengthening your pelvic floor so you don't pee when you sneeze." (That would be good). In all of the social media noise, I hear her because she is talking directly to me. I am her ideal client. She niched down her business to work specifically with women wh have a weak pelvic floor.

Why do I know about her? Because she was talking to me, and I heard her above the noise. Does she care that the people who don't need her services didn't hear her? Nope. She just needs me and people like me to hear her.
